The Scranton Hardware Bar (formerly Tinks) is the ultimate in nightlife experience in Scranton. The Hardware Bar offers 4 floors of non-stop entertainment from a state of the art nightclub (Eclipse), to the main floor with a balcony over looking the entire dance floor and stage (Hardware Bar), to a casual bar setting for all to enjoy (Bourbon Street). The main floor will host 10 bands this year that specialize in Alternative Rock, Top 40, and Mainstream. The Bog

Kildares

All of Kildare’s Pubs have incredible architectural interiors and state-of-the-art bar & beer systems, but it’s the food that is the main attraction. “Our dishes are distinctly and authentically Irish while keeping American preferences in mind. Another area of Kildare’s represents the “Gaelic Period” of Ireland, with its hand-hewn wooden log chairs and tree trunks from Ireland. The Pub is an extension of the home. At Kildare’s, this area is represented by the cottage dining room, where the publican would open his doors to friends and neighbors alike for cheerful hours of drinking, storytelling, conversations and music.
The Backyard Alehouse

About - In 2008, the Backyard Ale House was formed through a life-long friendship and a love for beer. Each one of us, have lived in towns away from Northeast Pennsylvania and were able to sample a wide variety of craft and imported beer products. We wanted to integrate many of the fantastic beers and ideas that we have experienced, in our collective journey, under one roof. The Backyard Ale House is our representation of that journey to date. The Backyard Ale House facility features two fabulous bars including Downtown Scranton’s largest outdoor patio. We stock over 400 different types of bottled beers and have 28 rotating drafts. We were rated as having the “Best New Bar” according to Electric City 2008 and “Best Happy Hour and “Best Vibe” according to Electric City 2009 readers.
Trax Bar & Grille

The Scranton Vintage Theater

About - The Vintage Theater’s mission is to cultivate and showcase the numerous art forms that make up Northeastern Pennsylvania and to introduce the professional arts to up and coming performers/artists. The Vintage Theater also dedicates itself to assisting in the revival of downtown Scranton and the local arts scene. In addition to the visual and performing arts venue The Vintage also plays host to a spectacular cafe (featuring delicious coffee and espresso drinks – from Grateful Roast)
The Banshee

About - Some people have said that The Banshee is a place of magic, that it is haunted, others say there is poetry in the air, but what most people believe is that it is a truly a pub like no other. Look around the great bar, well over 50 feet long, the book shelves, the benches, tables all made from wood salvaged from this old building in Scranton all make up a piece of the history of this place. Look at the people, there are a lot of interesting stories to be told. Each item on the wall tells a tale, along with a warm handshake or the easy eye of a stranger. These are what make up the feeling of contentment when you enter. The love and the hard work that went into creating The Banshee has resulted in a pub which fosters good relations, good conversation, and a grand ol' time.
